Sienna Bowl in Classic Ice
Description
Rostrato-Style Handblown Glass Bowl
Every spike catches it differently depending on where you're standing, what time of dayt is, whether the sun's low or the lamps are on. That's the quiet magic of the rostrato technique, a Murano glassmaking method from the 1940s that turned a simple vessel into something closer to sculpture. Some vases hold flowers. This one holds light.
This piece is handblown, which means no two are quite the same. You'll find small bubbles trapped mid-spike, a spike that leans a fraction differently than its neighbour, the kind of irregularity that only comes from glass shaped by hand rather than a mould.
Available in Classic Ice, Olive and Blush — colourways, it sits equally well solo on a console or dressed with a single stem. Some vases hold flowers. This one holds light.
